To every Thing There is a Season…

In the Northern Hemisphere, the June Solstice marks the slow turning from the lightest towards the darkest days of the year, before accelerating after the equinox in September.

The Solstice is a bi-annual energetic turning point that is so influential even the most unaware person notices its impact

The three-month period between today’s solstice as the Sun enters Tropical Cancer (illuminating its Northernmost point at the Tropic of Cancer) and the equinox (the Solar light moving towards the equator, corresponding to the Sun’s ingress into Tropical Libra) also happens to be one of the most highly-charged astrological periods in our collective experience.

Uranus in Gemini, representing awakening insights, revolutions, shocks, novelty, and innovations, is in a challenging square to the fateful lunar nodes, now in their final weeks of the Pisces-Virgo axis throughout June and most of July. The increasing geopolitical and economic volatility and ping-pong unpredictability we see now is a reflection of this aspect that from June 28th will be amplified as disruptive, action oriented and – let’s face it – warlike Mars will enter Gemini and perfect its conjunction with Uranus on the 4th of July.

Get out the popcorn (or duck and run) as the likelihood of both real and false-flag events triggering fear-based emotions and military mobilisation is very high, especially as this dangerous combination repeats a natal pattern in the USA Sibley chart (see image) which historically has signified US involvement in significant wars.

Mars will remain in Gemini until August 11th, the day before a Solar Eclipse in the Sun’s own sign of Leo. Expect major changes of leadership/rulership/heads of state and government and “captains of industry” globally over the course of this period.

Just after Mars enters Gemini, where is has no brakes and no filter, Jupiter – the symbol of wisdom, expansion and abundance – moves into Tropical Leo after more than a year in Cancer. It will remain in Leo from 30 June 2026 until 25 July 2027, which I will cover in a video this week. July is a significant and era-defining month for our times. As June blends into July, the never-before-seen modern outer planet “Basket” configuration takes shape. From where we stand now, all we can say for certain is this will mark a turning point for humanity. Whether this is through major disaster or war or through a tide-turning last-minute shift in human consciousness is impossible to say.

The asteroid Chiron newly in Taurus is holding a potential healing space almost exactly for the events of the next 3 months, suggesting we all urgently need to learn from our deeply wounded unconscious relationship to money, resources, possessions and Gaia herself as we move through these no doubt challenging times ahead.

The question Chiron asks us now is where do our values lie? (The double meaning here is deliberate!)

You can find out more about Chiron in Taurus in my latest video here, and consider subscribing to my YouTube channel where I am most active online. If you want to explore even more about Chiron in Taurus join my upcoming webinar on 28 June!

The Lunar Nodes will focus our collective attention on societal and leadership issues from 27 July 2026 to 26 March 2028, adding to the focus on change here. Leo represents rulers of all kinds, celebrities and famous people, children, romance and fun, but it also represents arrogance, privilege, and a lack of consideration for others. With Ketu here we can expect some losses, removals, letting go or separations from these things, while opposing this is Rahu in Aquarius expanding the energy of the collective, innovation and technology, social structures and the masses. We all benefit from examining our attitudes and roles in both of these polarities.

The Nodal axis is where eclipses happen whenever the Sun and Moon enter within 15º of conjunction with one or both of them. On August 12th the Solar Eclipse in Leo will be the first to announce the changes we can expect over the next 18 months, while the Lunar Eclipse in Pisces on August 28th will wrap up the previous cycle and help us move into new territory, so pay attention to what is happening and the choices you make throughout August! Both Jupiter and Mars will conjoin the South Node/Ketu in Leo as we move into the end of the year, so look for more on that in future posts here and on YouTube.

Finally, these are historic times for all of us, and finding a guiding philosophy through the rapid changes we are and will continue to be experiencing will be our necessary anchor. The material realm can never be that solid foundation, so we need to centre it in ourselves through our hearts and souls. Find meaning and purpose in your life beyond your material relationship to it, and you will thrive and be an anchor for those around you.

Much love & light as always,
Susan

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
