In 15 years of reading natal charts, nobody ever booked a session to tell me how delighted they were with their life! 🤔

People usually come to astrology because of a nagging frustration, a longing, a confusion, or a worry about their life that always relates back to the circumstances surrounding the perinatal period described by the natal horoscope. You will learn how to identify these deeper layers of a natal chart to help others recognise the root cause of their unconscious patterns and loosen their hold on their life.

Each of us is born with inherited challenges that teach us about who we are and what we’re made of as we go through life. These can be seen in our horoscope, meaning things are set in motion before we are born!

The emphasis is on understanding the core life issues in a natal chart.

My approach offers a way as of developing compassion for our parents and ancestors and their dilemmas, as well as ourselves as these patterns continue in our own lives until we become conscious of how to work with them. Knowing and accepting this can be profoundly healing for the native and their lineage, without needing to know the birth details of the ancestors to find it!

we also focus on sharing interpretations in a way that empowers the native/client to make peace with and embrace their life’s journey

This intermediate astrological journey is aimed at those with a solid basis in astrology and is especially useful for new or future counselling astrologers. You will improve your chart interpretation skills while also growing personally and spiritually in a supportive small group setting! A firm understanding of the planets, signs, houses and aspects is required.

Outside of course session time, students will have the option of pairing off with different course members each week to practice reading each other’s charts. This way students will receive each other’s immediate feedback and gain experience and confidence with both charts and clients. We will have an optional WhatsApp chat group to stay in touch for this purpose and for any questions that arise in between sessions.

The course includes:

• Novel ways of approaching natal astrology, the natal chart… and the native!
• The importance of planetary rulers for assessing the qualities and “promise” of a natal chart 
• Understanding how to work with planetary dignities and day charts v. night charts
• The strength of the planets by sign and house, and the challenges and gifts they might express in a person’s life
• How planets describe the people in the life of the native, as well as their motivations
• How to work with derived houses
• Interpret personal and inherited themes of the Ascendant/Descendant axis, the Medium Coeli (MC)/Imum Coeli (IC) axis, and the lunar nodes
• How to put it all together in a synthesis for consultations with individuals
• Lots of time for questions, guidance, and working with sample charts of group members and notable people

The course topics will necessarily overlap from week to week and all content is generated as we move through the course. Once the basic approach is understood in the first half of the course, we will focus on practical chart examples with interactive participation from the group.

📆 Classes begin on Sunday 27 September and continue for 9 consecutive weeks.

🕒 There will be 2 groups to accommodate multiple time zones: one group will meet from 9am-12noon CET (5-8pm Sydney) and a second group will meet from 4-7pm CET (10am-1pm New York/7-10am Pacific)

The course comprises nine 3-hour Sessions (including a break) plus several bonus videos for a total of about 30 hours.
