This intermediate astrological journey is aimed at those with a solid basis in astrology and is especially useful for new or future counseling astrologers. You will improve your chart interpretation skills while also growing personally and spiritually in a supportive small group setting!

In 15 years of reading natal charts, nobody ever booked a session to tell me how delighted they were with their life! 🤔

People come to astrology because of a nagging frustration, a longing, a confusion, or a worry about their life that always relates back to the circumstances surrounding the perinatal period. You will learn how to identify these deeper layers of a natal chart to help others recognise the root cause of their unconscious patterns and move towards loosening their hold on their life.

Each of us is born with our own inherited challenges; these can be seen and understood in the native’s horoscope in such a way as to develop compassion for our parents’ and ancestors’ dilemmas. Knowing and accepting this can be profoundly healing for the native and their lineage, without even needing to know the birthday of the ancestors to find it!

Our main emphasis will be on understanding the core life issues in a natal chart, and we will also focus on how to share interpretations with the native/client in a way that empowers them to make peace with and embrace their life’s journey.

Outside of course session time, students will have the option of being paired off with different course members each week to practice reading each other’s charts. Students will receive each other’s immediate feedback for the benefit of gaining experience and confidence with both charts and clients. We will have an optional WhatsApp chat group to stay in touch for this purpose in between sessions.

Lifelong Irish Mystic and Healer Roisin Eve from Trinity House will join us for an optional extra session to help you clear any blocks to success and develop your intuition as an astrologer.

The course will include the following topics and more, as well as useful topics that emerge through student questions:

• Ways of approaching astrology, the natal chart… and the native!
• The importance of planetary rulers for assessing the qualities and “promise” of a natal chart 
• Understanding how to work with planetary dignities and day charts v. night charts
• The strength of the planets by sign and house, and the challenges they might express in a person’s life
• How the planets describe the people in the life of the native
• How working with derived houses deepens the understanding of the chart
•  Interpret personal and inherited themes of the Ascendant/Descendant axis, the Medium Coeli/Imum Coeli axis, and the Nodal axis
• How to put it all together in a synthesis for readings with individuals
• Lots of time for questions, guidance, and working with sample charts

The course outline is tentative and many of the topics will necessarily overlap from week to week. We will focus on practical chart examples with interactive participation from the group, and some of the course direction will come from student questions.
