Guiding chaos to calm
Having a family member diagnosed at an early age with ADHD, coupled with my work as a substitute
teacher, was the impetus that began my quest to find something that really works to help these children
break out from cycles of negative behaviors.
My relentless quest to help these children, and their families, eliminate feelings of low self-worth,
exasperation & blame, and bring out the greatness I knew to be in these children, led me to Howard
Glasser's Nurtured Heart ApproachTM. Resonating with his belief that parents & educators are doing the
best job they know how, and that children all possess their own innate greatness, I completed both the
initial training held regionally, then later went to Tucson, AZ to receive certification as an advanced
trainer.
Teaching this successful approach to others struggling with a difficult and challenging child, has become
my passion, and my joy. Transformation is not easy to do alone. The concepts of the approach are tools
anyone can use in all kinds of relationships to holistically bring forth a more positive, peaceful, & enriched
outcome.
